
Career Advancement and Retention of Employees with Disabilities
This workshop educates employers in reviewing policies and processes to facilitate career development and retention strategies for employees with disabilities. Workshop topics include career planning and the use of benchmarking and indicators to develop compensation and benefits for employees with disabilities. Employers will also learn how to provide accommodation for performance management and engage mentors to retain employees with disabilities in the organisation.
Learning Outcome
At the end of this workshop, participants will understand how to:
- Formulate and implement a career and development plan for employees with disabilities
- Develop competitive and fair compensation and benefits for employees with disabilities using a strategic impact approach
- Provide a fair basis for performance management of employees with disabilities, by developing accommodation, disability disclosure and return-to-work processes
