Data Analytics Using Power BI

This programme will equip learners with the concept of data analysis and how data analytics are performed. Learners will also be introduced to one of the top data visualization tools as recognized by Gartner's Magic Quadrant - MS Power BI Desktop. In this course, learners will learn how to navigate around Power BI Desktop as well as create data table relationships. In addition to learning to use the different standard data visualization like Pie, Column, Bar and Line charts, learners will also learn to enhance the visualizations using features like Tooltips, Drill-throughs and create hierarchical visualization. Learners will also be exposed to using DAX formulas to create advanced computation to manipulate datasets.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

1. Create data visualizations using Power BI Desktop;

2. Understand key concepts and techniques on creating data visualization;

3. Understand data relationships and how linkages are formed;

4. Understand and generate data for forecasting and trends.
