Open Door Programme (ODP)

The Open Door Programme (ODP) is a government-funded initiative by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), designed to support employers to hire, train, and integrate employees with disabilities.

ODP-registered employers can access a suite of integrated support services, including the Job Redesign Grant, Training Grant, Recruitment and Job Support Services, and the Employer Development Grant.

Enabling Employment Credit

Employers receive up to a 20% wage offset (capped at $400 per month per employee) when they hire eligible persons with disabilities.

Employers get up to 90% course fee support when you send your employees to attend courses to build confidence in working with colleagues with disabilities.

Employer Development Grant

This grant provides up to $40,000 per employer to help companies build internal capabilities for hiring, supporting, and retaining employees with disabilities.

Job Redesign Grant (ODP)

This grant supports up to 90% of job redesign costs (e.g., purchase of equipment or workplace modification), capped at $20,000 per employee with disability, whichever is lower.

Inclusive Job Portal

A dedicated platform for employers to post job opportunities and connect with jobseekers with disabilities.

Internship Opportunities

Nurture emerging talent and kickstart your inclusive hiring journey through structured internship programmes. Gain access to a diverse pool of students and jobseekers with disabilities, backed by support from SG Enable to help tailor roles for mutual success.

Job Placement Support

12 months of job support. For every person with disability placed by our appointed partners — Autism Resource Centre, Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) and SPD — up to 1 year of job support for your new employees will be provided.

Employer Consultant and Job Coaches

Access dedicated support to help you build an inclusive workplace. Our experienced employer consultants and job coaches guide you through job matching, workplace adjustments, and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for both your team and your new hires.

Other Resources

Outside of ODP, SG Enable provides several standalone disability inclusion resources. Organisations can pursue national recognition through the Enabling Mark Accreditation, build workplace awareness through Disability Equality Training, assess their facilities via Accessibility Audits and Consultancy, or access downloadable Employer Guides and Toolkits for practical hiring and onboarding guidance.

Disability Awareness Talk

Disability Awareness Talk helps organisations understand different disability types and be equipped with disability etiquette. The talk also shares more information on resources available to organisations.

HIRE Workshop Series

These workshops provide a comprehensive and structured training framework for employers. Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible for funding from WSG for these courses.
