About SNTC

 

Supported by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Special Needs Trust Company (SNTC) is the only non-profit trust company set up to provide affordable trust services for persons with disabilities. Effective from 1 April 2025, SNTC is a fully owned subsidiary of SG Enable. The Special Needs Savings Scheme (SNSS) is also administered by SG Enable, acting for and on behalf of SNTC. The purpose of SNTC is to provide a vehicle that ensures the financial security of persons with special needs is met when their parents or caregivers pass on. As part of the SG Enable Future Care Planning team, trained social workers will come alongside caregivers to develop individualised care plans for each special beneficiary to meet long-term care needs.

Our Duties as Trustee

  1. To manage the Trust assets for the sole benefit of the beneficiary 
  2. To comply with the terms of the Trust deed 

  3. To protect and safeguard Trust assets 

  4. To act fairly and impartially between the beneficiaries 

  5. Not to profit from the Trust and avoid conflicts of interest between the Trustee’s own interests and those of the Trusts 

  6. To keep clear and accurate accounts 

  7. To exercise reasonable care and skill in ensuring the financial security and well-being of the beneficiary
