Accessibility & Assistive Technology
Benefits for Persons with Disabilities
Accessibility and assistive technology (AT) are two parts of the same ecosystem to enable persons with disabilities to live independently. You can't have one without the other.
The most accessible environment will not benefit persons with disabilities who do not have the necessary AT devices to access them. For instance, a wheelchair user must have space to manoeuvre a wheelchair on wide ramps comfortably.
Let's work together to push for the adoption of accessibility and the provision of assistive technology.
Accessibility refers to the design of products, services or environments to make them usable for persons with disabilities. Accessible design can be applied to both physical and digital spaces, and provide greater access and convenience to both persons with and without disabilities.Find out more
