10 Years of Building an Inclusive Singapore
This year marks our 10th anniversary! We celebrate the disability sector's progress, honour partners and friends who collaborate with us, and champion greater disability inclusion in Singapore!
Highlights of our Anniversary Dinner
Our 10th anniversary dinner, sponsored by Marina Bay Sands, saw 600 guests, comprising 240 partner organisations and 27 families. Guest of Honour Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, exhorted everyone to “move beyond awareness to action, beyond charity to co-creation, beyond disability to abilities.”
Our Involvement in the National Day 2023 Celebrations
To champion a more inclusive Singapore, we worked with partners to offer persons with disabilities various opportunities to contribute to art, fashion and music for the National Day 2023 celebrations. Their creative abilities went into co-created designs on NDP Packs, which were then transformed into a fashion collection donned by advocates for disability inclusion. They also captivated hearts of thousands of people as they performed our 10th Anniversary anthem at the Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert.

Listen to ‘Our Story’ – a powerful anthem of inclusion for persons with disabilities. Over 500 people came together for the making of the music video. This video is SG Enable’s rallying call to all Singaporeans to build an inclusive Singapore beyond the realities of today. ‘Our Story’ is a celebration of a decade of inclusive efforts by SG Enable and our partners, and was composed by Dr Darius Lim, the Artistic Director of Voices of Singapore.
