Overall Job Responsibility

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Service Development/Lifelong Learning (SD/LL) Division at SG Enable. This role focuses on formulating and executing the Lifelong Learning Strategy that enhances the lifelong learning, employment, and employability of persons with disabilities. You will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and the broader disability sector to create impactful, inclusive initiatives and programmes that promote personal and professional growth for persons with disabilities, upskill disability sector professionals, and empower employers and caregivers.

 


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead Development of Lifelong Learning Strategy: Formulate the Lifelong Learning Strategy to improve skills development, career advancement, and workplace inclusion for persons with disabilities, disability employment professionals, employers, and caregivers.
  • Ensure Policy Alignment: Ensure strategy is aligned with national policies, the Enabling Masterplan 2030, and other relevant frameworks to foster systemic change in disability inclusion and employment.
  • Tailor Initiatives/Programmes for Diverse Needs: Develop targeted learning programmes and initiatives that are customised to the unique needs of persons with disabilities, disability employment professionals, employers, and caregivers to promote lifelong skills development and career growth.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, employers, and persons with disabilities advocacy groups, to develop and refine lifelong learning initiatives and programmes that meet the diverse needs of the disability community.
  • Stay Updated on Trends & Best Practices: Continuously research and stay updated on trends, policies, and technological advancements related to disability inclusion and lifelong learning. Use these insights to inform and refine the strategy, initiatives and programmes.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement of programmes.



Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy formulation and execution
  • Experience in human capital development will be an advantage
  • Good systems thinking, design thinking, data analysis, operations, interpersonal and communications skills
  • A growth mindset, positive attitude and able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
