Special Education schools that support disabilities are available for children with special needs.
Special Education (SPED) schools provide education for children and youth with disabilities who are of school-going age.
SPED schools are managed by Social Service Agencies (SSAs) that receive funding from the Ministry of Education. There are a total of 20 SPED schools in Singapore and they offer different programmes that cater to distinct disability groups of children.
