Services for Children Who Require EI Support (0-6 Years)

Find out more about Early Intervention (EI) programmes and other support services for children who require EI support. These government-funded services are run by various Social Service Agencies (SSAs).

SG Enable provides information and referral services for the following services:

Early Intervention Programme for Infants & Children (EIPIC) and Development Support Plus (DS-Plus)

The Early Intervention Programme for Infants & Children (EIPIC) and Development Support Plus (DS-Plus) provides developmental and therapy services for infants and young children who require low to high levels of EI support. This programme is delivered at EI centres.

Inclusive Support Programme (InSP) Pilot

The InSP is a pilot launched in 2021 that caters to children aged three to six, who require medium levels of early intervention support. The InSP is delivered in preschools and integrates both early childhood education and early intervention for the eligible child in a preschool setting. The InSP seeks to provide a more inclusive learning experience for both typically developing children and children with developmental needs.

Integrated Child Care Programme (ICCP)

ICCP is a programme for children in selected preschools who require low to medium levels of EI support. No intervention is provided through this programme, and the child can concurrently attend other EI programmes like EIPIC or DS-LS according to their needs.

Additionally, SG Enable provides information only for the following services:

Development Support (DS) & Learning Support (LS) Programme

The Development Support (DS) and Learning Support (LS) Programme is a short-term intervention programme that prepares children who require low levels of EI support for mainstream primary school education. This programme is currently under the purview of the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

Therapy for Young Children
