Our range of Caregivers Training Grant (CTG)- approved training courses enable caregivers to learn more on topics such as day-to-day care, behaviour management, functional skills development and caregiver self-care.
For a listing of the courses, please check the schedules of CTG-approved courses.
Modes of Training
The courses are offered on a home or classroom basis. Home-based courses offer caregivers the convenience of receiving training at their homes while classroom-based courses are conducted at a training facility.
Courses are chargable. Eligible caregivers may tap on the Caregivers Training Grant to offset the course fees up to $200 per financial year. A minimum co-payment of $10 is required upon registration.
What is CTG?
The Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) enables caregivers to enjoy a $200 annual subsidy to attend CTG-approved training courses. The grant is administered by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), and is given out in the form of a training fee subsidy.
The amount of $200 is allocated to each care recipient every financial year (starting from April to March the following year). For example, if there are two caregivers caring for one care recipient, the total grant eligible is $200 per year and not $400, as there is only one care recipient.
